We are providing weekly ESOL classes for people with limited spoken and written English.

St. John's Ambulance will be delivering a street first aid course for 11-25 year olds, supported by Community Foundation

Hatch Programme

We have provided young people with the opportunity to develop their skills and gain paid work at NMW for 4 weeks in the hospitality sector.

Women's Development Work

A number of projects that helped to support the development of young women and adults.

Art Classes

Provided a 12 week art course for adults encouraged people to explore their creative side by learning to use different art materials and techniques.

SORTED Youth Club Initiative

SORTED aims to supports young people to take control of their future, by fostering in them eagerness and desire to achieve in life.

Kickstart Scheme

Community Foundation has taken part in the Kickstart Scheme, which provides 6-month job placements for young people who are currently on Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.

Henna Classes

Provided Henna classes to women in the local community, teaching them how to draw unique designs and more.

Economic Development

Provided financial advice and resources to members of the local community based on their financial situation.

Job Club

We held a free Job Club to help those who are unemployed find themselves a job by enhancing their skills.

Social Enterprise Scheme

Business ventures that tackle a social or environmental challenge, by creating a positive change to the local communities and environment.

Digital Skills Training

We are providing digital skills training to those with very limited digital awareness and understanding.
