Holiday Activity Scheme
Community Foundation runs a holiday activity scheme for boys and girls aged 5-16 in Lozells and Small Heath during the Easter, Summer and Winter holidays. The scheme offers sessions tailored to different age groups. Morning sessions (9:00 am–12:45 pm) are designed for children aged 5-9, while the afternoon sessions (1:15 pm–5:00 pm) engage those aged 10-16. Children are provided with at least one meal a day and snacks, morning children receive breakfast and afternoon children receive dinner.
Children enjoy a variety of activities, including sports, arts and crafts, and energisers. They also learn about nutrition and healthy eating through cooking activities. In addition to daily physical activities we also have classroom based activities included painting, drawing, board games, origami, and more, fostering creativity and teamwork.
